Let's Write a TV Script Together

One technique used by creators of televison programs is to create a cast of seemingly unrelated characters that are drawn together by some climactic event such as a crisis, an impending disaster, or a life changing event. Examples include Lost in which a plane crash leaves a plane load of people stranded on an island where their stories emerge and their lives impact one another. In Heroes, characters with super-evolved powers set out to save (or destroy) the world. The course of these stories is always in flux as outside events and the actions of the characters themselves cause the plot to evolve. As a viewer, you often don't know how the characters are related at the start. It takes a while for you to figure out the puzzle pieces, and you are likely speculating about how the story will evolve.

In this wiki you will have the opportunity to create such an evolving story. Let's start with a cast of characters. Add a character to this list with a link to the character's page where you will write the character's biography. Add enough detail so that we can build a plot that includes your character.

Character List (Add characters below with links to their page.)
On "Create Characters on this page," your mission is to create a character. You will describe them--their personality (motivation, attitude, etc.), their physical looks, etc.

  • Robin is an example character. Click her name link to view her story.
  • Click the "Create Characters on this page" link and add the name of your character to the list.
  • To link your character's name to your character's page, select the name, then click the link tool. A new page will be created.
  • Click the link below to go to the page where you can create a character.

Pivotal Event
To help us get started with a plot, think about what the pivotal events should be that link these characters? These events are what the plot will develop around. They are suggestions for events that might happen throughout the story. They are not the continuing saga--yet.

Add your suggestions to the Plot Suggestions page.
